the Importance of Beef



Data tahun 2007, Kementerian Pertanian mengindikasikan bahwa rata-rata konsumsi daging sapi segar penduduk Indonesia hanya sekitar 0,53 kg per tahu/kapita. Sangat jauh bila dibandingkan dengan standar yang dicanangkan Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) pada 2008 yakni 33 kg per tahun/kapita.

Daging sapi adalah sumber alami zat besi. Kekurangan zat besi bakal menyebabkan terjadi penurunan kadar hemoglobin yang berfungsi membawa oksigen ke seluruh tubuh, anemia, dan dapat menyebabkan rendahnya kecerdasan intelektual maupun emosional seseorang.

Data in 2007 at the "Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan", Ministry of Agriculture, indicate that the average consumption of fresh beef Indonesian population is only about 0.53 kg per idea / capita.
